Blagdon V8 Pond Seal
Clear Waterproofer and Sealer

Features Seals concrete and rock work. Ideal for use in and around the pond V8 is a clear polyurethene sealer, when applied to concrete will both waterproof it, and prevent toxic substances leaching into the pond or water feature. No Primer Required. Fast drying time - Usually 1 - 3 hours depending on temperature and weather conditions.

Surface Preparation Ensure that concrete or stone surface is both clean and dry.  Render must be porous to allow the sealer to penetrate. Use on highly trowelled surfaces is not advised. New render must be allowed to cure completely before V8 Pondseal is applied (this may take some weeks depending on weather conditions and render mix). Damage or Cracks should be repaired and allowed to dry. Any fibres used in the construction of the pond, which are proud of the surface, must be sanded until flush.

Application V8 Pondseal should be applied by brush only Three coats of V8 Pondseal will usually suffice, but on very porous render it may be necessary to apply an additional coat. Avoid applying to thickly and ensure V8 Pondseal is applied evenly. V8 Pondseal can be reapplied as soon as the previous coat is dry, normally within 1-3 hours, depending on temperature and weather conditions. Re-coating must take place within 3 days.  If left longer than three days, the previous coat must be abraded well, before applying further coats. Allow 3 days for the final coat to cure.

	Coloured V8   If a coloured finish is desired, V8 Pondseal can be mixed with V8 colour plus tinters to give either green or black finishes.  1 litre of V8 Pondseal requires 200ml of colour plus tinter, and will cover 3 - 5 mē per litre, per coat.
	Coverage Coverage will vary according to the porosity of the render.  Typical coverage is between 3-5 3 - 5 mē per litre, per coat.  For a three coat application, 1 litre will therefore cover up to 1.3mē

R42 may cause sensation by inhalation. P4 contains Isocyanates. S23 Do not breath Gas/Fumes/Vapour/Spray. S60 This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
