AquaFX is a modern approach to aquarium lighting. Utilising cutting-edge LED technology, your aquarium can now be illuminated in a stunning array of different colours and effects

AquaFX provides “natural daylight” LED illumination for your fish, and effectively supports plant photosynthesis.

The AquaFX Lighting System has been designed to Replace or work with your Current Lighting.

Enhance your aquarium with colour and style with the new AquaFX solid state colour change lighting systems.

Using the remote control handset either select a constant colour (white, red, orange,yellow, green, blue,purple) or choose an automatic slow fade between a full spectrum of 16 million colours.

Program the unit for each day of the week with different lighting scenes to suit your routine.


LED Tube:

  • Optically clear high resilience polycarbonate tube, Dia 25mm (T8) x 456mm (18")
  • Sealed for total waterproof operation.
  • 5 White LEDs are lighting industry leading devices, thermally controlled on latest metal clad circuit boards.
  • 4 Coloured LEDs are high performance RGB clusters (Red/Green/blue in a single thermally managed package).
  • Each tube delivers a maximum of 15w of light output – equivalent to same length of fluorescent.
  • SELV (Safety extra low voltage) – the LED tube is safe for use in or in close proximity to water – unlike unprotected fluorescent.
  • Fitted with 3m aquatic grade PVC supply lead, for easy and convenient cable routing and controller placement.
  • Ideal for illuminating a 2ft or 3ft tank, add a second tube for larger tanks or for real intense lighting in a standard size tank.
  • Full mounting kit supplied with options of mounting methods.
  • LED life typically up to 10 years.
Controller:

  • Operating voltage: automatically adjusts with all mains power between 90-250v, 50 or 60 Hz AC.
  • Power consumption: 20W typical (1 tube), 36w (2 tubes on maximum) Running full power white
  • The power supply is power factor corrected and meets all safety and performance criteria
  • Microprocessor controlled programmable form remote control and additional features through the buttons on the controller

IR Detector:

  • Detector is self adhesive mounted to any convenient surface.
  • Lead is 1.5m to allow for easy and convenient routing and placement of controller.

  • 14 button remote control, to activate and select features from the comfort of your favourite chair.
  • Infra red typically 5m range.
