Blagdon pH Adjuster For Alkaline Ponds
pH Adjuster For Alkaline Ponds - Advanced Pond Care System
Many fish diseases are encouraged because the fishes are under stress - and one of the main causes of stress is an unsuitable pH.
For ponds, the ideal pH which is a measure of acidity and alkalinity is between pH 7.0 (neutral) and pH 8.0 (slightly alkaline) but pH 6.5 - 8.5 is acceptable.
Interpet pH Adjusters are uniquely formulated so that, even if an excess of adjuster is added to the pond, the pH will not fall outside the safe limits for the fish.
Interpet pH Adjuster for Alkaline Ponds will safely change your ponds pH from an unsafe pH of 8.5 or above to a safe pH between 6.5 and 8.5.
A course of more than one dose may be required to achieve the safe change in pH.

How It Works :
Blanket weed is a fast growing filamentous algae. It forms a strong mat-like growth that is not only unsightly but can clog and damage pumps and filters.
The Blagdon Electronic Blanket Weed Controller has a unique microprocessor, which emits varying radio frequencies through antennae cables provided. This disrupts the calcium ions in the water and causes the blanket weed's cells to break up
Depending on the environmental conditions in the pond, the full effects on the metabolism of the blanket weed and its reduction may not be seen for up to 90 days

How You Use It:
The Electronic Blanket Weed Controller antennae is wound in a coil around the pond hose anywhere inline between the pond pump and pond filter. Once the unit is connected to the mains electrical supply, the antennae will commence to emit a radio signal through the hose into the passing water.
