After Care:
Should the lamp stop working or become intermittent, the lamp holder centre contact should be checked. This usually happens when the bulb has been over tightened.
Switch the power off and remove the plug from it's socket.
Remove the bulb and check that the centre metal contact is slightly raised. If it is flat against the base it will need to be raised slightly to ensure proper contact with the bulbs centre contact.
