Rena Smart Heater for Fresh & Salt Water Aquariums

Rena Smart Heater uses an elliptical heating casing,(instead of the traditional round glass test tube), which is made from a virtually unbreakable plastic material.

The precision electronics allow heater settings of 1/2 degrees from 20 deg C to 34 deg C.

A central by-pass core allows this heater to be connected to the inlet of an external filter (using the connection kit which is available separately)whilst the supplied bottom strainer prevents debris or fish entering the heater by-pass core

Indicator light on when equipment is heating up normally
Indicator light flashes slowly if temperature is too low
Indicator light is off when water temperature is correct
Indicator light flashes rapidly if temperature is too high

Rena Smart Heater Connection Kit

Allows you to connect the inlet of your power filter directly to the Rena Smart Heater, ensuring that circulated water is maintained at the correct temperature, and reducing the need for separate filter inlet pipework in the aquarium

The strainer supplied with the Smart Heater prevents large debris and fish entering the filter

Filter hose connection accepts 16mm internal diameter hose including Rena, Eheim and Hagen.

If you have a filter with 12mm internal diameter hose, then use a step-down adaptor such as Eheim 4004980 Step-Up Connector 12/16mm, and a short piece of 16mm hose
